Our herring come from the cold waters of Iceland ensuring a quality raw product that is from a sustainable fishery. We then take the herring, split it and cure it before it is gently smoked over a combination of Oak and Apple wood. A subtle sweet, smoke that does not overpower the fish.
Kippers make a great way to start the day and boost your omega 3 intake at the same time: simply add a knob of butter and grill, or make a delicious breakfast kedgeree with halved eggs.
Our kippers are sold whole or as fillets, and are suitable for home freezing.
