Cold Smoked Trout (Whole Side)


Our cold smoked trout slices are a wonderful alternative to the more traditional cold smoked salmon. The trout we use is responsibly sourced and farmed in Scottish sea lochs. On arrival at the smokehouse it is dry cured with sea salt and dark molasses sugar before being smoked over a blend of Oak and Applewood sawdust.

The trout is ready to eat, and has a beautiful flavour with a delicate flesh that is not over-smoked. Whole sides are available sliced or unsliced.

Suitable for home freezing.
